Ipodeacon's vestments
The ipodeacon is the highest rank of the small orders of the Church clergy. This rank is higher than that of Reader and smaller than the Deacon's. The ipodeacon is dressed in sticharion, having an orarion tied around the waist till over the shoulders (forming a cross in X on the back), and with the ends hanging down, introduced under the orarion around the waist.
